It is surprising how lonely I have grown. Far from home, and only that one strange boy seems to pay much attention to me. I cannot quite make him out. No one is that naive; he has to be playing some sort of game.

At the very least, I must coax him into more magical demonstrations. I believe that if I just watch closely enough, I can figure out how to mimic whatever was done.

I am feeling quite energetic today. I think I am going to take up running as a hobby. Exercise will be good for me, and will offer a good time for me to think.

Would anyone care to show me any adequate trails?

Trails? Um.. Man, let me think. (I don't run that often!) There's a good one if you exit the school and turn East, it loops around a section of the town and ends towards one of the walkways to the beach.

Is there much to look at along the way? Wildlife, perhaps?

As far as I remember, there are a few animals around. It's not like a zoo or anything, but I saw more than a few squirrels and a couple of rabbits the last time I went.

That is the only wildlife this area boasts?

Nah, there are fishes, too. And stray cats (and probably dogs).

If anything, you can make use of the track field.

But hardly entertaining. It was difficult enough to decide to exercise; wandering around in circles will not keep me focused.

Hn. Then I suggest the trail to the beach, otherwise, there isn't much else apart from perhaps jogging the sidewalks of the city to familiarize yourself with that area.

Perhaps I shall find a different way to occupy my time then.

I don't know, running along the beach might be amusing. You could look into maps of the area for any wildlife trails if you'd like, it isn't my thing so I never really checked into it. Maybe if you take a look at the ad boards in the Student Union there might be something better suited for you there.
